Team Endurance Drift Race 11th September 2009.

The club ran its Team Endurance Drift Race last night. Drift racing takes place for just over 2 hours between teams of 4 or more drivers. Each member of the team uses their own car, but transfers a single team transponder to the next team members car in a pit lane.

The first time we ran this race it was a bit of a destruction derby, but this time - what a change! This was one of the finest displays of drift racing I have seen. Tom Blake, Chris Randall, Robert Clark and Wayne Parker excelled at this discipline, and even new club members Daniel Morgan and Mark Mitchell performed very well considering they had not tried this form of racing before.

Congratulations to the 4 Kings Team who won the race with 404 laps in 2 hours 15 minutes and well done to everyone for a well run race with very high standards of driving. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
